It's been one of those weeks

Sorry I haven't posted this week - the kids and I have been sick, we had another snowstorm (and another snow day) and life is just generally busy! But I have my project done for this week's challenge at Our Creative Corner. To close out the month Wendy Janson has a Valentine's Day 3-D project challenge.

I made this cute little box - it may or may not be a February club project - we'll see. The pattern comes from one available on the SU demo site - it's made with the Fancy Favor box, then the decorative edge is trimmed off and a lid added. I made a band of DP to wrap around the box and added a magnetic snap to keep it closed. The stamps I used are from Valentine Defined, and the colors are Baja Breeze, Melon Mambo and Chocolate Chip.

Be sure you visit the OCC blog to meet our new DT members - you will love their work, I promise! We're so excited to have them joining us on the team and we have lots of great challenges planned for the next few months. We hope you'll come and play along with us!

Sweet little box, Lori! Wonderful design and terrific color palette. The tree stamp with the heart leaves is so perfect for Valentine's Day and I love the button and twine. Sorry to hear you and the family have been sick. Hope all are on the mend now!

Oh well I'm a little slow this week, Lori! Your little box is adorable! I love all the box templates and you decorated this so cute. Love the way you used the punch and sentiment. I've had that punch and don't think I've used it. Every time I try, I don't like it! Great job, Lori!
